Riddles to Sharpen your Mind

In Moshav Bekoa, Belev Echad held a soccer game. Ami and Yoni are two boys who participated in the game. While Ami was playing, he pushed Yoni and broke the watch he was wearing. Yoni demands that Ami pay for the watch, as is obvious to both of them.

But Ami discovered that Yoni’s watch has a warranty for breakage, and if he goes to the store with the warranty, he will get a new watch. Therefore, Ami claims that he does not have to pay because there is a warranty on the watch.

Yoni, on the other hand, claims that this doesn’t make any difference, and since he broke it, he has to pay anyway. Who is to bear the cost?
